Site Summary:
Date brings a Canadian slant to its famous portal. It doesn’t follow the same exact blueprint of Date.com but carries many of the same features. Members can instant message even those who haven’t paid for a subscription so that carries a lot of weight. Is it worth a trial run? Read on!


Positive Features
  • Create a basic profile in minutes (for free).  This allows you to search Date.ca's singles member database for matches in your area.  When you find some compatible matches, you can then go on and create a more detailed profile of yourself.  I found several hundred matches in most of the medium size cities I searched for in Canada (based on certain age ranges and specific genders).
  • Pay in Canadian Dollars.
  • Customer Care staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Well balanced number of men and woman profiles.

Negative Features

  • Only one, on the first page of Create Your Profile uncheck the box for "I agree to receive email updates & announcements from qualified partners".
